Nokia Cellphones have always been known for their user friendly features and the Nokia 6600 slider phone is no different. It is perhaps the market’s smallest slider phone and boasts of the tap function which allows you to activate several functions including snooze, alert or time. Tap the slider twice and you get to silence the phone or reject a phone call. Cool, huh?

The Nokia 6600 has a 3.2 megapixel camera which can take videos. You can easily share your photos and movies through the Interent or get navigation and Nokia Maps application by opting for the Nokia Bluetooth GPS Module LD-4W.

All these you get for $390. Not bad, huh?

If you want fast web browsing than the ordinary 3G connection then try Sony Ericsson G502 HSPDA model which boasts of a web surfing capacity of four times more than the 3G.

It is loaded with the latest version of Google Maps for Mobile so it is a handy gadget if you want to access information and direction to hotels and restaurants and other places to go. It also comes with a weather forecast feature allowing you to get firsthand information on the weather condition.

The phone’s 2 megapixel camera, which has a big enough 4x digital zoom is a welcome addition to shutterbugs. The phone is available in two colors: brilliant hazel and champagne black.

LG Glimmer Phone: A Mix Of Glamour And Convenience

The LG Glimmer touchscreen and slider phone was made available to all Alltel subscribers last month. At first glance it looks similar to the Prada cellphone esepcially the menu, only simpler. Mixing the sliding keypads with the touch screen interface is a good idea for the sake of convenience.

Since the phone is exclusively for Alltel (which is not good news for non-Alltell subscribers) it boasts of some of the best features available only to Alltel clients like the Axcess TV, Axcess Voice2TXT, Alltel Navigation, Axcess TV and Axcess Search. Compared to most cellphones in its league it is pretty affordable at only $249.99 with the $100 mail-in rebate already deducted.

The LG Glimmer has a 2 megapixel camera, 2.8 inch touchscreen, a 128 internal memory, an expandable microSD slot (which is inconveniently located at the back) which is capable of up to 4GB memory, MP3 Player, GPS capability and EV-DO support.

If you use your phone to keep records of your friends and business contacts then you woudl not be disappointed because it can store as many as 1,000 contacts and you can keep as many as five phone numbers per contact, his email address, homepage and some notes. You can also group your contacts into certain categories, assign a caller ID photo and a ringtone.

The Linux-Based Motorola A810

The Linux-Based Motorola A810 is simplicity personified so if you do not like much clutter on your phone then this is a good choice. The phone’s front design is clean and you can find the Send and Answer Key on the left side.

This is a touch screen phone so you have to rely on the stylus for all input activities. You can write on the 2.4 inches LCD screen directly or use the virtual keyboard. It has a 2 megapixel camera but it is not WiFi nor 3G capable.

The Chinese and Taiwanese markets will get the opportunity to see the Motorola A810 sometime this year.

LG KF750 Touch Phone: A Secret No More

The LG KF750 Touch Phone dubbed as “The Secret” has finally been revealed and those who want an almost non-existent phone will delight in the thinness of this 11.8mm thin phone.

This slider phone belongs to LG’s Black Label Series but is ultra-modern considering that it can also shoot DivX video at 120fps. It also makes use of carbon fiber which is is used in aerospace and automovies for durability purposes. It looks classy with tempered glass shielding the LCD in front.

It boasts of a 5 megapixel camera as well as Neon touch navigation buttons which allows you to see the effects of your commands in a blue hue. The best thing about this thin gadget is that it allows you to edit your photos and videos through Morphing and SmartLight. You can even create your own music videos through the Movie Maker software.

It can be your mobile office as it is packed with Google products including Gmail and Google Maps. use this phoen to watch your favorite YouTube videos, surf the net or check your email. You can type through Microsoft Word and view Powerpoint and Excel files.

Samsung Jitterbug Dial SPH-A120 For The Older Set

One of the sectors that has been overlooked by cellphone manufacturers in their quest to come up with the perfect cellphone is the senior citizens. Rarely can you find a phone that responds to the needs of the elders like big keypads and easy to operate features.

The Samsung Jitterbug Dial - SPH-A120 does just that. It has very large keypads allowing elder folks to view the numbers and letters easily without squinting at all. It is also easy to use and has built-in features that are especially helpful to old people.

The Jitterbug does not boast of any multimedia feature, just the basic call and messaging functions. It is however bulky at 4.4 ounces and measurements of 4 inches in height, 2 inches in width and 1-inch depth. This is however ideal for seniors so they can hold on to the phone securely when using it. It is big enough so that the user will have a lesser chance of leaving and losing the phone.

It boasts of an actual dial tone much like the traditional phone so the user will easily know it is working. It has a 1.8 inch bright display with a very ideal large font.

One of the great features of this phone is the GreatCall feature which allows you to call or adjust your phone through the operator. It has rubberized edges which makes the phone more comfortable on the user’s ears. Plus, it can accomodate hearing aids.

Verizon’s White XC6900 is available for $249.99 with a contract. The downer? It does not have wifi. Not smart at all.
