MOTO A810 Touchscreen Phone

July 22, 2008

Motorola has not been producing great cell phones for quite sometime now and the introduction of the MOTO A810 was welcomed by raised eyebrows by a lot of cellphone aficionados. The A810 could be Motorola’s response to the emerging touchscreen phone market but will it fly?

The phone design is not really that impressive considering the wide array of attractive cellphones around. It has s 2.4-inch touchscreen which is its main selling point. It also boasts of the handwriting recognition and Opera v8.5 browser email support feature. The 2 megapixel camera is however nothing new and the fact that it is Linux-based do not improve its status.

If you want to try the phone, you will be glad to know that it has an FM radio to drive boredom away. Make use of the preinstalled programs like the dictionary and stock trading because these are all you’re going to get.

Motorola is however looking at the Chinese market to continue patronizing its products considering that it has already sold over right million PDA phones that are pen based in the said market.

Nokia 6500 slide

July 19, 2008

phone15.jpg

The Nokia 6500 is one of the best sliders lauched by Nokia and even compared to the other slider brands. For one, it has good camera pictures like a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and Carl Zeiss optics. It is also a quadband phone which is more than enough for a basic phone.

This slider has stainless steel wraps all over even on the battery cover but a closer look would reveal some plastic parts. It also has soft touch keys making easy to send text message. The phone is lightweight despite the material it s made of.

The phone has maximum connectivity with a 2.5mm audio conenctor, micro-USB port, and a charging port. You can also expand your storage capacity.

The only problem you can find here aside from the autofocus not working with the video feature is the fact that the phoen does not auto lock when the slider is closed.
