AT&T Wireless Samsung i617 BlackJack II: A Much-Improved Version of the BlackJack
February 29, 2008

It’s predecessor, the Samsung Black Jack was faced with a lot of issues foremost of which was the battery drain issue. However, this (and more) has been settled with the Samsung i617 BlackJack II which is a little thicker than the original to allow for mroe battery space. The upgraded version is a sleek phone and those who have purchase the original Samsung Black Jack can benefit by switching to the latest model since its price ($149.99 after rebates) and with a two-year service contract, is really affordable.
If you’re the formal, office-type guy then choose the Black version but accept the fact it is easily prone to smudges. However, if you are fun-loving and wants a not too-geeky smartphone, then the Burgundy model is the best choice not only because of the color but because of the textured back which make sit easier to grip and less smudge-prone.
This smartphone is not your slim-type phone since at 4 ounces, it has a measurement of 4.4 inches in height, 2.3 inches in width and 0.5 inches in depth. Don’t worry though because it can still fit inside the pockets of your pants.
You may find it interesting to note that this smartphone offers convenient call functions as well as text messaging functions thanks to the QWERTY keypad.
