July 14, 2008

The Chinese market has been flooded with new models of the Motorola Ming A1600 and Motorola A1800 flip cell phones. Nothing spectaclar really with these phones as both are equipped with a 3.2 and a 3.0 megapixel resolution cameras respectively. The A1600’s camera scan talking dictionary feature is however interesting. This model can read English documents but if you prefer them in Chinese then your phone can translate the words and the talking fictionary can even pronounce them.
Both cell phones can be used as specialized and independent GPS devices as they can navigate and help you find your destination evne without the support of a mobile network. Lost and don’t know where you are? Send an MMS of any landmark building in the area with your A1600 and get the exact address.
Both the Motorola Ming A1600 and A1800 boasts of new Chinese eletronic maps (but does not include Macau, HongKong and Taiwan).
The cellphones are intentionally for the Chinese market with the 2.4 inch touchscreen allowing input of clear cursive Chinese handwriting. The A1600 also boasts of the smart learning feature where the cellphone does not only predict but remember your writing habits making your cellphone experience more efficient and fast.
The phones are ideal for business transaction with the A1600 having internet access and both having email capabilities, translation software by Kingsoft, document reader and business card reader.
