A first glance at the Samsung Serenata Music Phone will confuse you as to its real nature. “Is this a speaker or a phone?”, might as well be your first question when you see this gagdet. Serenata is both.

This very expensive phone at $1600 is however better bought for its music capabilities and the cellphone function is only incidental. It does not have a keypad or a QWERTY keyboard so it is very difficuly to send an MMS.

The sound quality of the phone speakers is however one of the best in town. There should be no doubt about that since the ICEPower amplification of the speaker system is patented by Bang & Olufsen.

You can use it interchangeably as a phone and as a musixc player. Differentiating the two functions is also a breeze since it has a special display effect which makes use of a red light (if the music functions is used) and a blue light (for the phone function).

The music function is also enhanced by the BeoPlayer software which allows you to trasnfer music from your PC to the Serenata phone.
