The LG KS360 is an affordable handset seen at the CommunicAsia just lastw eek. However, this phone is not for the critical phone buyer because of its simplicity in both looks and features.

You may find its black and red design more like a gameboy or a toy gadget for kids but this triband phone has GSM/EDGE support. It does not have 3G features so this is another discouraging factor for the critical phone buyer.

This phone however has a QWERTY keyboard that slides out from under the phone. It comes with a 2.4 inches display, 2 megapixel camera, stereo bluetooth and FM radio.

LG Viewty KU990 To Rival N95?

May 31, 2008

phone14.jpg

The LG Viewty KU990 may yet be the best phone to rival the Nokia’s N95 given its 5 megapixel camera. This feature has earned for it the moniker the best camera phone in town and it’s hard to argue with that considering that it thus have most of the features of your point and shoot camera like a 16x digital zoom and a video recording capability of 120 frames per second.

However, ir does have lots of questionable camera features like the zoom function which can be ativated by putting your giners on the lens and rotating it. And while it is at par with the N95 on this angle, it does not however have the Nokia’s multimedia powers.

This cellphone boasts of a touchscreen much like the LG Prada but this is another tricky thing. It also makes scrolling a bit of a bore due to the amount of time you have to spend on it. But practice makes perfect so you can try that one if you want this phone.

This phone is however not as sturdy as the other phones in its category so be careful when handling it.

LG Venus

May 22, 2008

The LG Venus Phone is a beauty but is generally bulky at 107 grams and the size of 102 x 51 x 15.7 mm considering that so many phones in its category are already outdoing each other when it comes to slimness. The half touch screen is however frustrating for those who want to have more liberty in touching the screen. However, if you consider the other features then you’ll get accustomed to the half touch screen.

The phone has 3G features which is great and you can use it for sending and receiving emails, instant messaging and surfing the web. You can also take advantage of the music store of Verizon as well as its streaming video service.

The LG Venus has a 2 megapixel camera which can also be used to capture video clips and has a dedicated camera key. It also has a microSD card which is a blessing for those who want more storage.

Those who need to monitor what’s on TV regularly need not worry about missing a thing anymore if they have the LG Vu by AT&T. LG Vu’s 3-inch display screen is perfect for watching TV that’s made possible by MediaFlo technology.

The phone is also a great camera phone with a 2.0 megapixel camera that sports a video capture feature. It has stereo Bluetooth and a music player for maximum convenience. You can also get more memory via the expandable memory card slot.

If you are fond of using your phone for voice calls then the 3 hours talk time would not be enough so you might consider an additional battery.
