The LG Voyager - VX10000 may look like an iPhone at first glance but open it up laptop style, see the the QWERTY keyboard and decide if you think this phone is better than the Apple iPhone.
LG Voyager VX10000 possesses the iPhone’s touch interface and most of its functions are the same as that of the iPhone. However, the LG Voyager runs a a 3G data network that is a lot faster thanks to Verizon (but it lacks the ability to make use of hotspot connections), it has a V Cast Mobile TV Bluetooth, an Integrated GPS application, plus EV-DO support.

This phone is reasonably priced too with a 2-year service contract at $299 (that’s less the rebate) compared to the iPhone’s $399. The keyboard is also another come-on as it allows you to enter text and use it much like a laptop.
With 240 hours of talk time plus, browsign capability and easy text messaging features, the LG Voyager is indeed a phone to watch out for.

The LG Rumor phone is considered by many phone afficionados as a candy bar phone but for sure, this yummy-looking phone is more than just a candy bar. It used to be Sprint’s LG Rumor but it is now Alltel Wireless’ Scoop. Beyond the ever changing nomenclature is however the same features.
It has a slider QWERTY keyboard which slides out from underneath the phone. This feature allows you more hand-room to compose and send text messages as well as emails. You can evenuse instant messaging (Yahoo or AIM) while on the go.
A unique feature for Alltel’s Scoop is Axcess Voice2TXT support which allows your voicemail to be converted into tetx messages and then saved on your inbox. This is very convenient for those who may have missed important calls for one reason or another.
You can also fidget with the phone’s 1.3 megapixel camera (no flash however) and store lots of images thanks to the phone’s capacity for a 4GB size cards. The huge gig is however intended for the phone’s music playbak software. It boasts of a Bluetooth and an MP3 Player.
