The Nokia 6500 is one of the best sliders lauched by Nokia and even compared to the other slider brands. For one, it has good camera pictures like a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and Carl Zeiss optics. It is also a quadband phone which is more than enough for a basic phone.
This slider has stainless steel wraps all over even on the battery cover but a closer look would reveal some plastic parts. It also has soft touch keys making easy to send text message. The phone is lightweight despite the material it s made of.
The phone has maximum connectivity with a 2.5mm audio conenctor, micro-USB port, and a charging port. You can also expand your storage capacity.
The only problem you can find here aside from the autofocus not working with the video feature is the fact that the phoen does not auto lock when the slider is closed.

The Nokia N78 is a cheap alternative to those who badly want but could not afford the Nokia N82 which is a very capable phone. While it does not have all of the N82’s features like the TV out port, the Nokia N78 can somehow make the grade with other advantages like the 320 battery standby time and the 190 minutes talk time (for 3G) and 260 minutes talk time (for 2G).
The N78 is easy to carry at 102 grams and a size of 113×49x15.1mm. It has a 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, videor ecording and is capable of WiFi, 3.6 Mbps HSDPA and assisted GPS navigation. It has a Navi wheel for music, an MP3 player and an FM radio.
One of the downers in this phone is its irritating keypad that are floppy and hard to push. It is so frustrating to dial a number much more when you use it for texting. If you are a serious texter then stay away from this phone otherwise you’ll get crazy.
But it is still cheaper than the to-die-for N82.
